Russian-Chinese Trade Up 55.8% in May 2010 y-o-y 09:58 10/06/2010 BEIJING, June 10 (RIA Novosti)
Russia-China trade reached $4.75 billion in May, showing an increase of 55.8% against the same month last year, the Chinese customs authorities said on Thursday. Russia's exports to China demonstrated a 57.4% increase and reached $2.551 billion, while China's exports increased by 53.8% totaling $2.2 billion. Since the beginning of the year, China's imports from Russia totaled $11.693 billion and exports $9.316 billion. Russia's share in China's overall foreign trade in January-May this year, which totaled $1.1 trillion, amounted to 1.9%.
